Each year during Days of Remembrance, our nation comes together to honor the victims and survivors of the Holocaust and to ensure that the lessons of the Holocaust are not forgotten.
You can take part in this year’s Days of Remembrance by paying tribute to a Holocaust survivor.
Your message will be shared with a survivor who volunteers at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Every day, this committed group of individuals greets the public, guides tours, and shares their personal histories. They have inspired millions to recognize the relevance of the Holocaust to their lives today.
It isn’t easy for them to recount the tragedies they lived through, but they know there is an urgent need to tell their stories to as many people as possible, while they still can. They do so for themselves as well as on behalf of loved ones they lost—in the hope we will learn from their past to create a better future.
