Thank you for your interest in participating in the Museum’s annual Days of Remembrance commemoration. This event will play on the Museum’s Facebook page. You do not need a Facebook account to watch. After the event concludes, it will be available in the videos section. You will receive an email shortly before our programming begins on April 21, at 11 a.m. ET, reminding you to watch.
Every year, our nation comes together to remember the victims of the Holocaust, honor the survivors, and pay tribute to the liberators during annual Days of Remembrance. While COVID-19 might keep us apart this year, please join us from your own homes for a virtual commemoration as we reaffirm our commitment to keep the memory of the Holocaust alive.
This year’s event features Holocaust survivors’ tributes to family members they lost, a stirring message from Benjamin Ferencz (the last living Nuremberg prosecutor), and timeless words from the late Elie Wiesel. The program will close with an opportunity for each one of us to make a personal pledge to safeguard the survivors’ legacy. In honor of the victims, we will ask you to join us in reading a name during these Days of Remembrance.
We look forward to hosting you virtually for this commemoration. Until then, we encourage you to learn more about why we remember.
